Legend has it that Langkawi was cursed by a lady named Mahsuri who was innocently executed for adultery and before she died, she cursed the island to be in doldrums for seven generations – perhaps its true for Langkawi only blossomed not too long ago. You will visit the Mahsuri’s Mausoleum where her tombstone lies and watch a live gamelan performance & a video of her story. The beautiful Black Sand Beach will be your next destination, where you can take some snaps at the ancient fishing jetty. Right after, you will be taken to a must visit spot whereby a 12 metre high brown eagle which symbolizes Langkawi is standing strong at the Eagle Square. Last but not least, enjoy the splendid duty-free shopping in Kuah Town before returning back to the hotel.
