Arrive at Zagreb airport. Meet with your guide and transfer to city center. Visit old Zagreb with a local guide. The sightseeing tour will take you along the most interesting historic part of the town: Trg B. Jelačića (Governor Jelačić Square), or simply The Square, the main square in Zagreb. Upper town – Gradec and Kaptol, two medieval settlements that the city of Zagreb grew from with some of  the most important landmarks of the city: The  Cathedral (Katedrala Marijinog Uznesenja), Dolac – open  market, Tkalčićeva Street (Tkalča to locals), Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Church (Crkva Sv. Marka) and more… After the tour, return to your accommodation in the hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a hotel or local restaurant.

The capital city of Slovenia lies in a basin between the Karst and the alpine region at 298 meters above sea level. We like to say it is sufficiently large enough to contain everything that a capital should have, yet small enough to preserve the individuality of its inhabitants. It is a city with a soul, featuring the Baroque Old Town which is nestled at the foot of Castle Hill, the Art Nouveau mansions, as well as some of the masterpieces of the world renowned architect – Joze Plecnik. Ljubljana nowadays presents the political, cultural, scientific and university center of Slovenia.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to Bled. Visit of Bled includes the castle and Pletna boat ride with entrance to St. Mary’s Church. Lake Bled, together with it’s surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. This pearl of Slovenia and the whole Alpine region, with a tiny island and St. Mary’s Church in the middle of the lake, and an old medieval castle up on the cliff, offers you an amazing view and is definitely something you will be enchanted by. Free time after the visit, then return to Ljubljana.

Breakfast at the hotel before your departure to Postojna and tour of Postojna Cave. Postojna Cave is the best-known cave in the world. It is also the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia, and one of the world’s largest Karst monuments. For 140 years, the Postojna Cave is the only cave in the world that offers a unique and adventurous ride with a special train. The train will take you into the cave, through the spectacular underground arches embellished with chandelier look-alike stalactites, through a beautiful subterranean world full of playful limestone sculptures.

After the visit proceed to Opatija and check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to Istra Peninsula. Visit Rovinj with a local guide. Rovinj is a charmingly picturesque town, and one the most romantic places in the Mediterranean! The Old Town is a reflection of what Rovinj was like when it was all packed into one crowded island. The narrow, winding, cobbled streets, crammed-together houses and buildings, and picturesque squares will just take your breath away. One of the most famous attractions is The St Euphemia Cathedral, the largest Baroque building in Istria.

After Rovinj, proceed to Motovun area. Visit Motovun and enjoy a truffle tasting in the area. Motovun, possibly the most picturesque medieval town of inner Istria, has been the most important settlement of this area since prehistoric times. Motovun is a small town of rich cultural and historical heritage, situated on a hill above the Mirna river valley, with a beautiful view of the valley and the famous Motovun forest – habitat of the respectable white truffle, where in 1999 the then-largest white truffle in the world was found (1.301 grams), whose record-breaking size is confirmed by a certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records.

Proceed to Hum. Visit Hum – ‘smallest town in the world’. Apart from its size, Hum is also known for its traditional top-quality aromatic Biska mistletoe brandy, and as a centre of the Glagolitic alphabet. The town’s stone streets, squares, churches, and walls attest to its great history. Return to Opatija.

Breakfast at the hotel, then depart to Rastoke. A short stopover for the visit, Rastoke serves as an introduction to Plitvice Lakes. In contrast to the lakes, Rastoke features a 300 year-old village with houses and watermills which emerge among the cliffs and islets.

Everything that nature created over thousands of years, and all that man later built while respecting natural resources, blends into a unique whole, together with the surrounding limestone rocks, old forts, and the small town of Slunj. Proceed to Plitvice for a guided tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia’s most popular tourist attraction, which was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979.

The beauty of the national park lies in its 16 lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, set in deep woodlands populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars, and rare bird species. The national park covers a total area of 300 square kilometers, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometers. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to Šibenik. On arrival, take a guided tour of the city. Šibenik is a town that successfully combines famous history and natural beauties. The Old Town is a typical Mediterranean medieval city, with a warren of pedestrianized alleyways and piazzas overlooked by green-shuttered stone houses. The most important monument of Šibenik is the Gothic-Renaissance Cathedral of St. Jacob. It is also a unique monument of the European sacral architecture, included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2001. After the tour, free time at leisure and proceed to Split.

Breakfast at the hotel, then take a visit of Split with a local guide. Split is a town of ancient history, built and preserved over the course of 1700 years by its loving inhabitants. Embark on a walking tour in Diocletian palace, the most precious monument in the city. Diocletian Palace is one of the most significant original structures of the late ancient architecture, a kind of Imperial Palace that was enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites.

After the visit, proceed to Trogir for a guided tour. Trogir is the historic stone city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The orthogonal street plan dates back to the Hellenistic period, and the whole city is made of stone. There is no modern architecture. Its beautiful Romanesque churches are complemented by the outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period; the Cathedral of St. Lawrence (St. Lovre), famous for Radovan’s portal, the beautiful Kamerlengo Tower, and much more. Enjoy some free time before your return to Split.

After boarding the catamaran in Split, begin your journey with a swimming stop to discover the Pakleni Islands, a small archipelago just opposite of the town of Hvar. Go for a swim, try snorkeling, or bask in the Mediterranean sunshine. Next, you will have a chance to explore the sunny island of Hvar, known for its rich vegetation and lavender fields. Enjoy time to walk around the streets and squares of the main town at your own pace.

Make a final stop in the beautiful bay near Island Brač, with free time for swimming before returning to Split by boat in the early evening. Lunch and drinks will be served on board, with the option of choosing between a meat, fish, or vegetarian menu.

Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Ston where you will enjoy a wine and oyster tasting. This historic town is surrounded by a 5 km long fortified wall, the second longest in the world after the Great Wall of China, originally erected in 1358 to protect the town. Now, over 20 towers still remain, and the wall represents an impressive flashback to the past. Ston area is also home to an oyster farm. Thanks to the unique ecological balance of the area, the farm grows a variety of oysters that have died out elsewhere, making these a truly special delicacy.

Proceed to Dubrovnik, on arrival visit with a local guide. Dubrovnik’s nickname is the “Pearl of the Adriatic” and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Today, Dubrovnik is the proudest feather in Croatia’s tourist cap, an elite destination and one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean. The old city is encompassed by medieval walls, which have been preserved in their original form and opened for visitors as Dubrovnik’s major attraction. The whole city is a live monument and rich treasury of history.

Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Visit Pocitelj, Medjugorje and Mostar. This unique settlement, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, with recent reconstruction has returned the town to its original form. Besides its stunning oriental architecture and Ottoman feel, Pocitelj hosts the longest operating art colony in southeast Europe. Artists from around the world gather here to paint, among other things, but most importantly the shiny red pomegranates and figs that grow in abundance on the hills of Pocitelj. Medjugorje is one of the best known sacred places in the world where pilgrims and visitors come to regain their inter forces to overcome the difficulties of life. It is known as a place where pilgrims come to worship the Virgin Mary. She is known here as the Madonna of Medjugorje. The most compelling site here is the Mount of Appearance, where the Virgin Mary is reported to have appeared to children in 1981 for the first time. The tour guide will help you understand and appreciate why this place of peace and compassion has become such a world-wide destination for pilgrims. The historical town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, was developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town, and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Old Bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, Eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean, and Western European architectural features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. Famous Old Bridge of Mostar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is also considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

After the visits, return to Dubrovnik for rest & relax.

Breakfast at the hotel, then visit Cavtat with a local guide. Cavtat is a medieval town, with a rich cultural and historical heritage. It was built on the slopes of a peninsula between two deep, easily accessible coves.

Throughout history, this town was home to many distinguished people whose great works have been preserved right up to the present day. After the visit, proceed to Dubrovnik inland – region of Konavle, where you will enjoy a wine tasting at the local agrotourism. Konavle is a region with particular natural beauties and contrasts: mountain and valley, green hills and naked stone, the blue and the green.. The preserved natural, unique, and exceptionally precious rural architecture, numerous monuments of the 1000 year-old history of this area, traditions that are hundreds of years old and have been kept alive through folklore, the distinctive traditional costumes of Konavle and the Konavle embroidery, the harmony of man’s life and the nature… all this renders Konavle unique and recognizable. After the visit return to Dubrovnik.
