Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to Rovinj, located on the beautiful Istra Peninsula. Istria is indeed a feast for the eyes. Its streams flow to the sea through deep valleys and gullies, which bring to mind the ancient local myths about giants. Rolling hills overlook the fields and valleys with little towns perched on the peaks, recalling some old paintings. The view is splendid: white-topped mountains, lush wheat fields, plateau, valleys, vineyards and olive groves on hillsides, and, finally the sea. Transfer to the hotel for check in.
In the afternoon, embark on a walking tour with a local guide. Rovinj is one of the most popular and most developed tourist destinations in Croatia, and it’s known as one of the most picturesque and romantic towns on Mediterranean. Our tour will give you the best of Rovinj’s centuries-long history, tradition, and people. You will get to understand and feel what it is that makes this town so special, why St. Euphemia is the most important
woman in the town’s history, and what dragged all the artists right here and nowhere else.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the town.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to Pula for a guided tour with a local guide. Pula is one of the most attractive Croatian towns. Located in the southwest part of the Istria peninsula, it is the biggest town of Istria County. The Pula walking/sightseeing tour takes you to the old city of Pula, where you can see and hear about all the important monuments, and the rich history of this town. Remains of ancient Roman times, early Christianity, the times of Venice, Napoleon, Austria, Italy written in the city walls…
After the tour, proceed to the peninsula inland and the Motovun area. The Motovun area is known as a famous truffle hunting region. An interesting fact is that a local caterer and truffle hunter, with his dog Diana, dug up one of the largest truffles ever found weighing 1.31 kg, on November 2nd, 1999. The Guinness World Records listed this truffle as the largest in the world. We will make a stopover in one of the most famous truffle restaurants where you can enjoy lunch at your own expense.
After lunch, visit Motovun with a local guide. This captivating hilltop town is one of the characteristic symbols of the Istrian interior. The Romanesque-Gothic bell tower with a crenulated crown from the 13th century, standing next to the Parish Church of St. Stephen from the 17th century, dominates the town’s historic core. In the central square is the Romanesque Municipal Palace, the largest secular building in Istria of that period, surrounded by many other historic buildings. A local legend says that Motovun was built by giants. For the end of the tour, enjoy in a wine tasting in one of the local famous wineries. Return to Rovinj.

The main attractions of this park, unique in the world, are the 16 small lakes joined by waterfalls, created by the sedimentation of travertine, a special type of limestone. Via a network of paths, visitors can get around and access the numerous waterfalls and rocky lake shores easily. After the visit, proceed to Zadar and check in to the hotel.

Breakfast is served at the hotel, then depart to Split with a stopover in Šibenik for a guided tour. Šibenik is situated in the central part of the Croatian Adriatic Coast, in the picturesque and indented bay where the Krka River enters the sea. Šibenik is famous for its cultural and historical sights, natural beauties, and boasts two monuments under the protection of UNESCO, the Cathedral of St. James and the St. Nicholas’ Fortress, as well as the two national parks, Krka and Kornati. There are even three fortresses in the city: St. Michael’s, Barone, St. John’s and St. Nicholas’ on the sea side with a beautiful view over the St. Anthony’s Channel and the city of Šibenik.
After the morning tour, proceed to Split for an afternoon walking tour. Split is a Croatia’s second largest city and one of the Adriatic’s most vibrant port cities, stunningly located between mountains and sea. Diocletian’s Palace, the most significant cultural tourist attraction of Split, was built by Diocletian, a Roman emperor notorious for the persecution of Christians. In this luxury palace, he spent the last few years of his life. Being located in the narrow center of Split, the palace is a must-see attraction for every visitor. It contains a lot of originally preserved ancient sites that include streets, squares, and churches. It was called a palace, but it was more like a big fortress, surrounded by walls and towers. They are sometimes referred to as the “European Walls of China”. The saltworks were established as far back as the 13th century. These days, the harvesting of salt from the sea is still done in a traditional manner. Mali Ston Bay is where you will find the oyster beds that produce what are often said to be the most delicious oysters in the world!
