Visit Angkor Wat – Ta Prohm – Angkor Thom Full Day Tour
Today is dedicated to the discovery of the essentials of Angkor temples. First explore Angkor Wat, easily the most famous and best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. It is a massive three-tiered structure crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65-metres from ground level. Next, visit the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the royal enclosure, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King are the main elements of this 12th century masterpiece. A lunch break will be arranged in a local restaurant and will be at your own expense.
We continue to Ta Prohm Temple, which, unlike most of other Angkor temples, has been left just as it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of trees growing out of the ruins. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.
Overnight in Siem Reap
Note: Appropriate attire when visiting Angkor temples is long pants (covering the knee) and shirts that cover the shoulders. Skirts, small shorts, tank tops, and other items of revealing clothing are not allowed within temple grounds. Visitors can and are frequently turned away from temples when wearing revealing clothing.

Sabaidee! Welcome to Luang Prabang, a tranquil town with its gleaming temple roofs, fading colonial architecture and stunning mountain backdrop. It has been claimed by UNESCO to be “the best preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia”. You are greeted by your guide and driver at the airport for your transfer to the hotel.

Wake up early to go witness the Tak Bat ceremony, when the monks process along the streets of the town to receive the daily alms from locals.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and then head out to visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang, dating back to the 16th Century. Located at the end of the peninsula close to the Mekong, this temple was built in 1560 by King Setthathirat and is decorated with ornate carvings and mosaics. Visit the National Museum, housed in the former Royal Palace, which showcases many treasures of Laos’ royal past and features the Prabang, the sacred Buddha image for which Luang Prabang was named. Then visit the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre, which will show more about Laos’ Ethnic group, especially minorities, around the country.
Next, visit Wat Visoun, a peaceful temple featuring the much-photographed Watermelon Stupa, and Wat Aham, the site of Luang Prabang’s most important spirit shrine. Step up to the top of Phou Si Mountain. Rising 150m in the center of town, Mount Phousi cuts a distinctive figure on the Luang Prabang skyline. The hill is a popular as a place to watch the sun rise or set. From the summit, enjoy spectacular 360 degree views across the city and its many temples, and over the surrounding landscape to the mountains in the distance.

Khuangsi waterfall & Pak Ou Cave
Drive out through the beautiful landscapes of rice fields, hills and villages to the Khuang Si Waterfall, where water tumbles over tiered limestone formations into crystal clear pools, ideal for escaping the heat. Between cooling-off in the pools, you can also explore the lush forest setting around the falls. A short walk brings you to an unexpected waterfall where you can spend time swimming or simply relaxing by the water’s edge. Enjoy lunch in this tranquil green setting while relaxing near the magnificent Kuang Si waterfalls.
In the afternoon, transfer for around 1-hour to Pak Ou Caves, located 25 km upriver from Luang Prabang and right on the river bank at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. The Pak Ou Caves are a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site with many statues and statuettes of the Buddha in the traditional Luang Prabang style. The caves are noted for their miniature Buddha sculptures which take many different positions. Later, transfer back to Luang Prabang on a cruise while you enjoy the splendid natural scenery as the sun sets, and observe the daily activities of the local fishermen along the river.

Grand Palace (Private Tour, 3 hrs)
This tour is one that cannot be missed in Bangkok! Visit Wat Phra Kaew and the nearby attractions first, before moving on to the Grand Palace. Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is located right next to the Grand Palace, and they form together the greatest spectacle for visitors in Bangkok. A visit to the Royal Grand Palace, the nation’s landmark and most praised royal monument in Thailand, is a must.
The palace, which is the former royal residence of the Chakri Kings, is the perfect example of an ancient Siamese court. Built in 1782 by the King Rama I, it was the centre of power for more than 150 years. Today, the palace is Bangkok’s major landmark and most popular tourist attraction. Indeed, the Grand Palace is an amazing place to visit, as it consists of over 100 brightly coloured buildings, golden spires and glittering mosaics, that all date back to the foundation of Bangkok in 1782.
Please note that photography is permitted in the Royal Palace Grounds and in the compounds of the Emerald Buddha Temple, but not inside the buildings. Also, note that the chapel is a national shrine and that you will be required to wear proper attire (no bare shoulders, knees or strapless-heel shoes). Shoes must be removed before entering the temple buildings as a matter of respect.
Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
