Today, after breakfast, start with a visit to the royal Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi for a look at its beautiful ponds, multi-tiered roof structures and traditional Balinese architecture.
Continue to Alas Kedaton, a small forest sanctuary home to playful monkeys and towering nutmeg trees — a peaceful stop surrounded by nature.
Later in the afternoon, drive to the famous sea temple of Tanah Lot for sunset. This temple is perched precariously a rock in the sea and can only be reached by the local Hindu population during low tide. As the beach it’s located off of faces west, it has become well-known for the spectacular sunsets that take place there. Sit down and, as the sun dips below the horizon, prepare for a spectacularly photographic occasion.

Overnight in Seminyak

After breakfast, depart from Seminyak and head inland to witness the iconic Barong & Keris Dance a dramatic performance depicting the eternal battle between good and evil, deeply rooted in Balinese mythology.
Continue to Mas Village is famous for its wood carvers, and it’s possible to pop into the workshops of mask-makers and sculptors around town. There are also a number of more formal galleries, such as Tony Raka, which has expanded beyond carvings into modern art and tribal pieces.
Next visit Celuk Village is one of the villages whose administrative location is included in the Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. Apparently, Bali has an area that is famous as a center for silver crafts, as shown by Celuk Village. This village not only meets domestic demand, but also exports its silver and gold works of art abroad. Visitors are often attracted to Bali because of its reputation as a tourist destination that offers unique shopping experiences.
Visit Tirta Empul, a temple famous for its sacred spring water. All Balinese bathe here at least once a year for a ritual cleaning in these holy waters dedicated to Vishnu.
Then drive on further to the North until reaching Kintamani, a volcanic region with breathtaking views of Mt Batur. Adjacent to the volcano is the large crescent-shaped Batur Lake. The entire area is surrounded by the high walls of the crater rim. Stop for lunch (by own) at lakeview hotel and restaurant the restaurant looks out at the caldera of the Batur volcano.
